How We Approach Success Rates And Clinical Outcomes

We define success in IVF and ICSI treatment as a clinical pregnancy per embryo transfer, confirmed by ultrasound showing a gestational sac with a foetal heartbeat. We are careful to explain that a clinical pregnancy is not the same as a live birth, as miscarriages can occur.

Our IVF and ICSI clinical pregnancy rates are competitive and reported transparently, including results of up to around 45 percent for IVF and ICSI and up to 65 percent when donor eggs are used, depending on age and individual clinical factors. Most embryo transfers are performed at the blastocyst stage, allowing embryos with the strongest potential to self-select.

We also follow SASREG embryo transfer guidelines, balancing the aim of achieving pregnancy with the importance of reducing medical risks. We do not turn patients away to protect statistics.
